2022 World Travel Awards

The winners of the European edition of the World Travel Awards 2022 have already been announced. Portugal has won three dozen awards, with emphasis on the distinction of Best European Destination, which happens for the fifth time in the last six years and the Algarve has been voted the Best Beach Destination. Porto stood out as Best Destination of City and Lisbon as Best Destination City Break.

 

The World Travel Awards – considered the 'Oscars' of tourism – are awarded by professionals in the sector on a global scale since 1993, distinguishing the work developed in the tourism industry, in order to stimulate the competitiveness and quality of tourism.
